Teaching Statement
My mission is to use my knowledge and support each student as they break into artistic freedom. It is important to feel supported and be able to give others the creative nurturing that they need. It gives me such joy to be able to guide and encourage the minds of others and to give them the freedom to live a creative fulfilling life within the music industry.

Biography
Tenor Trombonist, Olivia Myge is a proud member of the Fraser Valley Symphony Orchestra and founding member of the brass quartet, O.M.E.G.A Brass. She has performed with the New Westminster Symphony Orchestra, the Vancouver Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, the UBC Wind Symphony, and the KPU Wind Symphony. Olivia is also a passionate music educator and mentor. In addition to teaching privately, she works with high school music students throughout the lower mainland when in her low brass clinics.
