Teacher

Hi my name is Kate, I have a unique cornucopia of musical experience. My musical journey began at 7 years old with piano lessons, however my love for music has existed since birth. I have played piano for hundreds of people in a variety of venues (including conventions, cafes and concerts). I have been asked to teach piano lesson before, but my school workload has not permitted me up until this point. I have worked in my school's primary music department (my school is one of the top 10 in British Columbia) with a variety of age groups and highly qualified music teachers. I helped to keep the classes focused and dealt with any problems/questions that arose. I have taught young children (academically not musically) in a few different programs such as Coast Capital Reading Buddies through my community and personal after -school care. I am also extremely involved in my church's music department in the chorale, playing piano for services, and organizing performances. I soon hope to further my musical journey by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy. I would hope my piano lessons not only educate but inspire others to continue their musical journey.
